Air War 1941

Air War 1941 is a classic vertical scrolling shooter set in the skies of World War II. You pilot a fighter plane flying up the screen while waves of enemy aircraft pour in from above, and your job is to shoot them down before they shoot you.

Move your plane around the screen with the mouse or by dragging your finger - your guns fire automatically, so the whole game is about positioning. Line up with enemy planes to hit them, and slide out of the way of incoming bullets and planes on a collision course. Destroyed enemies sometimes drop power-ups that strengthen your weapons, spreading your shots wider and making them hit harder, which you will need as the waves become thicker and faster. The game is built for short, intense runs where the goal is to survive as long as possible and push your score higher.
