Astro Survivors

Astro Survivors belongs to the "survivors-like" genre popularized by games where your ship or character fires automatically, leaving you free to focus entirely on movement and which upgrade to grab next. There's no aiming button here; the whole skill of the game is in where you choose to not be standing.

Runs typically start weak and end absurd, a starting single laser eventually overlaps with orbiting drones, spread shots, and area detonations that clear half the screen at once. The choices that matter happen at each level-up: stacking duplicate weapons for raw damage clears early waves faster, but spreading picks across a few different types usually survives longer once late-game swarms surround you from every direction rather than just the front. Zombie Siege Outbreak runs the same auto-fire, upgrade-as-you-survive formula against hordes instead of alien swarms.
