Bad Parenting

Bad Parenting skips monsters and jump scares for something harder to shake off: a household where the tension comes from the adults in the room, not anything supernatural. You experience the story from a child's-eye view of neglect, conflict, and decisions that were never really yours to make.

There's no combat or puzzle-solving skill to master here, the game is built entirely around dialogue choices and small interactions that shift how the household's story unfolds, and several distinct outcomes exist depending on which moments you chose to speak up in versus stay quiet through. It's worth playing through more than once specifically to see how differently the same household plays out when you push back instead of going along with it. Poor Eddie tells a similarly dark, choice-driven story if this narrative style is what you're after.
