Bloxorz

Bloxorz gives you one object, a 1x1x2 rectangular block, and one rule to keep in mind at all times: standing the block upright on the goal tile is the only way to finish a level, and that tile is deliberately just barely too small for the block lying on its side.

Rolling the block end-over-end across a narrow platform means constantly tracking which orientation it's in, not just where it is, since a block hanging half off the edge in the wrong orientation falls immediately. Later levels add switches that only trigger when the block is standing upright on them, and bridges that need to be toggled open or closed at exactly the right moment in your route, so scouting a level's layout mentally before committing to a roll saves far more moves than rolling forward and backtracking on instinct. Shape Fold tests a similar sense of spatial reasoning through paper-folding puzzles instead of a rolling block.
