Bob the Robber 4 plays like a puzzle game disguised as a heist, each room is a fixed arrangement of guard sightlines, cameras, and alarm triggers, and the "combat" is really about reading that arrangement correctly before you move rather than reacting quickly once you're already spotted.

Guards patrol fixed paths, so timing a dash between two sightlines is a puzzle you can solve by watching a full patrol loop once before committing, rather than guessing. Sneaking past a camera instead of disabling it saves the tools you'll likely need for a harder security system later in the same level, and knocking a guard out is usually the wrong call unless their patrol route directly blocks the only path to the vault; an unconscious guard left in the open makes the next patrol notice faster than an undisturbed one would have. Escaping the Prison flips the same sightline-reading stealth format into a breakout instead of a heist.
