Dead Plate

Dead Plate compresses its entire horror story into a single 30-minute restaurant shift: you're Rody, a waiter with ordinary tables to serve, and the game lets the mundane task list slowly reveal that something in this restaurant is very wrong.

Because the shift runs on a real clock rather than pausing for exploration, investigating an odd detail too thoroughly can cost you time you needed for an actual table order, and the branching endings hinge on which of those two priorities, curiosity or the job, you lean into at key moments. Replaying with the opposite instinct from your first run is really the only way to see how differently Rody's night can end.
