Digging Master ties its difficulty curve directly to depth: the deeper you dig, the denser and more valuable the resources get, but also the more your starting tools struggle to keep pace, which makes the upgrade shop between dives just as important as the digging itself.

Selling common materials as soon as you surface rather than hoarding them for a bigger haul later tends to fund tool upgrades faster, and a stronger drill or bigger cargo hold pays for itself almost immediately once you're deep enough to hit denser ore veins. Rushing straight down without upgrading first usually just means turning back early with a full inventory of low-value material instead of reaching the rarer resources waiting further below.
