Elastic Man

Elastic Man is less a game and more a hypnotic stress toy: a single, gel-like face floating in the middle of the screen, waiting for you to grab it. Click and drag anywhere and the skin stretches, wobbles and snaps back with unnervingly realistic jiggle physics, complete with a soft squelching sound that makes it weirdly satisfying to pull a cheek halfway across the screen and let go.

There is no score, no timer and no goal. It is built purely to be fiddled with for a minute between tasks, and the detailed rendering — pores, stubble, shifting light — is what keeps people coming back to poke it. Drop the mouse sensitivity in the settings if the face flings around too fast. When you want something equally low-pressure but with a bit more to do, OvO Dimensions is a good change of pace.
