Gametornado's Eugene's Life gives its clay protagonist a body that behaves like actual clay, inflating, squeezing, and stretching are core movement options rather than cosmetic animation, so a gap too wide for a normal jump might still be crossable by inflating into a bouncier shape first.

Machines and mechanisms scattered through each level are usually built around one of those specific clay states, a switch that needs a squeezed, narrow shape to fit through a gap, or a launcher that needs an inflated, bouncier shape to get real height from, so experimenting with your character's shape against a stuck puzzle tends to reveal the solution faster than searching for a hidden switch.
