Five Nights at Freddy’s 3

How to Play Five Nights at Freddy’s 3?

Five Nights at Freddy's 3 faces you against a single real threat, Springtrap, but adds a layer the earlier games didn't have: ventilation and audio systems that fail independently and have to be manually rebooted, often at the cost of losing camera access while the reboot runs.

Playing an audio lure into a different part of the building is usually safer than letting Springtrap wander toward your office on his own path, actively steering the threat away beats passively hoping he takes a different hallway. The hallucinated animatronics that flicker into cameras or the office are visual noise rather than real threats, learning to recognize and ignore them keeps you from wasting a reboot on a system that was never actually the problem. Five Nights at Freddy's 4 strips away the cameras and systems entirely for the series' most stripped-down night yet.
