FNAF Unblocked locks you in a security office from midnight until 6 AM with two doors, a bank of cameras and a battery that is always running down. Four animatronics are walking the building. You cannot fight any of them - you can only watch, close a door at the right second, and hope the power lasts.

What Is Five Nights at Freddy's?

Released in 2014 by Scott Cawthon, Five Nights at Freddy's turned a night-watch shift into one of the most copied horror formats on the internet. You never leave your chair. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy move around the pizzeria while you flick between camera feeds, and every action you take - checking a camera, closing a door, turning on a hall light - drains the same limited power supply.

That is the whole trap. Being careful costs power, and running out of power at 4 AM is worse than anything the cameras could show you. The game is about rationing attention, not reflexes.

How to Play FNAF

Controls

• Move the mouse to the bottom of the screen - open the camera monitor
• Click a room on the map to switch feeds
• Click the door buttons on either side of the office - close the door or turn on the hall light
• Watch the power meter in the bottom left; at 0% the doors open on their own

Who you are watching

• Bonnie and Chica approach along the left and right halls. Check the hall light before you decide - a closed door on an empty hallway is wasted power.
• Foxy waits behind the curtain in Pirate Cove and sprints down the west hall if you leave him unwatched for too long.
• Freddy only moves while the monitor is up, and announces himself with a laugh rather than a face at the window.

Tips to Survive the Night

• Use the lights, not the doors. A light costs a fraction of what a closed door costs - check first, close second.
• Check Pirate Cove on a timer. Foxy is the only one punished by neglect; a glance every thirty seconds keeps him behind the curtain.
• Put the monitor down. Freddy advances while you are watching cameras, so long stretches in the camera feed are not safe, they are just blind.
• Budget by hour. If you are below 50% power at 3 AM you are going to lose - cut your camera checks immediately rather than at the end.
• Listen. Footsteps, the kitchen clatter and Foxy's run are all audible, and sound is cheaper than any camera check.
