Fruit Ninja built its reputation on a swipe motion that feels good regardless of whether you're actually good at the game, but the score chasing underneath that satisfying slice is built around combos: multiple fruits caught in a single swipe score dramatically higher than the same fruits sliced one at a time.

Reading where a cluster of fruit will converge before it reaches the peak of its arc, rather than swiping at whatever's closest, tends to line up bigger combos than reacting fruit by fruit. Bombs mixed into a fruit cluster are the real threat to a combo swipe, since a wide slice through a packed screen has a real chance of catching one along with the fruit, which makes Arcade mode's frantic pace riskier than Classic's steadier build-up. Slice Master tests a similar precision-slicing instinct in a different format.
