Funny Blade and Magic hands you two deliberately incompetent heroes, Blunder Blade the clumsy knight and Merlin the Magnificently Misguided, and builds its combat around the fact that both of them mess up constantly, spells backfire, swings miss, enemies get turned into chickens by accident rather than design.

Because failure is baked into the characters themselves, playing defensively rather than aggressively tends to work better here, a backfired spell or a whiffed swing at the wrong moment can leave you exposed longer than in a game where your character actually lands hits reliably. Leaning into the chaos rather than fighting it, letting a misfired spell hit an unintended target and adapting from there, is often more effective than trying to force a clean, controlled fight. Funny Battle Simulator 2 shares the same absurd comedic tone in an army-versus-army physics battler.
