Fury Wars builds its squads around heroes with genuinely different kits rather than reskinned versions of the same soldier, so a match's outcome depends on how well your team's ability mix covers each other's weaknesses, not just who aims better.

Because heroes specialize, sticking near a teammate whose ability complements your own, a shield-type hero screening for a fragile long-range one, for example, tends to outlast squads that scatter and fight solo. Solo missions strip that team synergy away entirely, which makes them a better test of raw individual aim and positioning than the squad-based arenas. Combat Online offers a similar multiplayer shooter structure with a heavier focus on individual loadout customization.
