Golf Hit
How to Play Golf Hit ?
Golf Hit forgets about holes, putters and par. There is one tee, one golfer in an argyle sweater and one goal: hit the ball as far as it will possibly go. Each swing earns coins, the coins buy upgrades, and the upgrades send the next ball even further. You start at a few feet and the first target, shown in big letters under the distance counter, is simple: reach 200 ft to unlock a new golfer. After that the targets keep growing, and so do your drives.
The Power Meter
Next to the tee sits a fan-shaped meter with orange, yellow and green bands, and a red arrow that sweeps back and forth across it. Click to stop the arrow and your golfer swings. The narrow green band in the middle gives a perfect strike; stopping in the yellow or orange parts gives a weaker hit. While the ball flies, the counter at the top shows the distance in feet, and the progress bar on the right fills up toward the next golfer.
When the ball stops, a reward window tells you how the shot went - for example "On the Fairway!" with the coins you earned. Click Collect to bank them and get ready for the next swing.
The Three Upgrades
The cards on the left are where your coins go. Each one starts at 50 coins and gets more expensive every level:
- Strength - "Golfer is X% stronger". More power at the moment of impact.
- Speed - "Ball flies X% faster". The ball keeps more of its speed in the air.
- Bounce - "Ball bounces X% further". Extra distance after the ball first hits the ground.
Next to each card is an X2 UPGRADE button that normally plays a video for a double upgrade; you do not need it to progress, the regular upgrades are enough. Because each card's price rises separately, it usually pays to keep all three at similar levels instead of maxing just one.
Golfers, Gifts and the Clubhouse
Hitting each new distance target unlocks another golfer with a better swing, and the Clubhouse button in the bottom-left corner is where you look at the characters you have. In the bottom-right corner, the gift box has a countdown timer and gives free coins when it reaches zero, and the button next to it shows the ranking. The coin and gem counters sit at the top left, next to the settings gear.
Swing, Collect, Spend
The whole game uses the left mouse button or a tap on a touch screen: click to stop the meter, click Collect after the shot, click an upgrade card to buy it. A laptop trackpad is perfectly fine here, since timing matters and aiming does not.
Tips for Longer Drives
- Learn the rhythm of the arrow. It always moves at the same speed, so count the beat and click a fraction before it reaches the green band.
- Spend after every shot. Coins sitting in your balance do nothing. Buy the cheapest upgrade each time and the distance grows steadily.
- Do not forget Bounce. Many players pump Strength alone and see the ball stop dead on landing. Bounce turns a good hit into a great one.
- Chase the next golfer. A new character with a stronger base swing helps more than one extra upgrade level.
- Check the gift timer. The free coins refresh every few hours, so open it whenever you come back.
Why It Is So Hard to Put Down
Golf Hit is pure progress: every single swing pays out, every upgrade shows up on the very next shot, and the targets are always just a little out of reach. You can squeeze in five swings during a short break or spend an hour chasing the next golfer, and in both cases you leave with a longer best drive than you started with. Meanwhile and your coins, upgrades and unlocked golfers stay saved in the browser for next time.
