Google Snake

Google Snake is the version of the classic Snake game that Google hides inside its search results, playable here in a full window. You steer a green snake around a checkerboard field, and every apple you eat makes it one segment longer and adds to your score.

Use the arrow keys or WASD to turn. The snake never stops moving, so the challenge is planning a path: the longer you get, the more of the board your own body takes up, and running into a wall or your own tail ends the game. The settings menu lets you change things up with different speeds, board sizes, colours and fun modes such as multiple apples, walls that appear as you eat, or a board with no walls where you wrap around to the other side.
