Happy Wheels Unblocked is the ragdoll physics game that made losing limbs funny. You pick a rider - a man in a wheelchair, a dad on a bike with his son on the back, a shopper on a scooter - and try to reach the finish line through a course built entirely out of things that will take you apart.

What Is Happy Wheels?

Designed by Jim Bonacci, Happy Wheels was one of the first browser games to make ragdoll damage the entire point. Every rider has independent limbs that can be crushed, sliced or torn off while the rest of you keeps rolling, and the levels are full of spikes, mines, harpoons, moving platforms and machinery designed to do exactly that.

The version here is a modern build that runs natively in the browser, so it works long after Flash was switched off - which is more than can be said for most Happy Wheels links still floating around the web.

How to Play Happy Wheels

Controls

• Up / Down arrows - accelerate and brake or reverse
• Left / Right arrows - lean back and forward, in the air as well as on the ground
• Space - your character's primary action: eject from the vehicle, fire a harpoon, jump
• Ctrl and Shift - secondary actions, different for every character
• Z - eject entirely, and R to restart when it has all gone wrong

Each rider handles completely differently: the wheelchair is fast and fragile, the shopping scooter has a boost, the dad and son share one bike and can be separated at the worst possible moment. Half of the game is picking who suits the level.

Tips to Finish in One Piece

• Lean constantly. The arrow keys are more useful in the air than on the ground - land wheels first and you keep your momentum and your legs.
• Eject on purpose. Space is not a panic button; launching yourself over a blade and rolling to the finish is often the intended solution.
• Slow down before the trap, not in it. Most deaths come from arriving at a hazard already too fast to change anything.
• You can finish without limbs. A body with no legs still counts, so do not restart out of habit - drag yourself to the line.
• Read the level once. Many courses are puzzles wearing a stunt-track costume; the first run is for finding out where the trap actually is.
