Jacksmith

Jacksmith splits neatly into two halves that feed into each other, a hands-on forging minigame where you actually hammer and assemble each weapon piece by piece, and a battle phase where the quality of that forging directly decides how your warriors perform against the enemy.

Because different materials and shapes forge into weapons with different stats rather than a single "best" recipe, matching a weapon type to the warrior who'll carry it, ranged weapons for warriors who need to soften enemies from a distance, heavier melee gear for frontline fighters, matters more than maximizing raw damage on every single weapon. Rushing the forging minigame tends to produce weaker gear that shows up as a real handicap once the battle phase begins.
