Jelly Mario

Jelly Mario takes the familiar structure of classic platformers and deliberately breaks it. Inspired by Super Mario Bros., the game replaces precise movement with unstable, elastic physics that make even the simplest actions feel unreliable. Walking, jumping, and landing no longer behave as expected — they become experiments rather than controlled inputs. The core challenge is not level design, but control itself. You are constantly negotiating with momentum, elasticity, and delayed reactions. A small movement can result in exaggerated outcomes, forcing you to slow down and rethink how you interact with the environment. Traditional platforming instincts become ineffective, which creates both frustration and humor. Overcorrecting tends to make things worse here, a big deliberate jump often produces a wilder, less predictable bounce than a small, restrained one, so treating every input as an experiment in how the physics will respond beats committing to a confident, precise-feeling move. Jelly Truck applies that same wobbly, unstable physics to driving instead of platforming.
