Pirate Cards

Pirate Cards is a rogue-like card game from Famobi. You play a brave pirate captain exploring a faraway island full of dangers and treasures, and every step you take is a card on a small grid.

The rules are simple: move one step left, right, up or down onto a neighbouring card. Each card is something different - a monster to fight, a cannon to fire, an elixir to drink, a shield to pick up or coins to collect - and when you step on it, its effect happens. You keep going until your life points run out, so planning your path is everything: pick up shields before fights, save potions for when you need them and use cannons to take down strong enemies from a distance. Defeat bosses to upgrade your hero, open treasure chests through a mini-game, unlock new characters and buy boosters before each round.
