Raft Wars plays out as a turn-based artillery duel rather than the survival crafting its raft-themed name might suggest, Simon and his brother lob water balloons and tennis balls across the water, and each shot's arc has to account for both distance and the target's own movement.

Because projectiles follow a real arc rather than a straight line, adjusting power before angle once you've got the horizontal aim roughly right tends to dial in a shot faster than changing both at once. Enemies positioned behind rocks or other rafts often need a higher, looping shot to actually connect, so a flat, direct trajectory that worked on open targets can miss entirely once cover enters the picture. Raft Life covers the survival side of raft life that this game's title only borrows for its setting.
