Simply Prop Hunt gives Props a genuine disguise system rather than just a hiding spot, transforming into an actual object in the scene means blending into a room's existing clutter matters far more than finding a dark corner, a hider standing next to matching props is often safer than one hiding alone.

As a Prop, picking a disguise that's already common in the current area works better than an unusual object that stands out as the only one of its kind nearby, and staying still while a Hunter is close matters more than continuing to reposition. As a Hunter, watching for props that don't quite match their surroundings, subtle placement or size differences, tends to reveal disguised players faster than checking every object equally. Hide and Smash runs a similar disguise-and-seek format with a key-collecting objective added for hiders.
