What Is Slope?

Slope is a 3D endless runner built on one very simple idea. You steer a ball rolling down a procedurally generated slope somewhere in neon space, moving only left and right, while the course throws narrow bridges, sudden drops, moving walls and blocks of red at you. Touch red or roll off an edge and the run ends instantly - there are no lives, no checkpoints and no second chances.

The ball rolls forward on its own, so steering is your only job. Your score climbs with every metre you survive, and the further you get the faster everything moves - most runs end not because a gap was impossible, but because the speed finally outran your reaction time. Hit an obstacle and you start again from the top with the speed reset, ready to push the record a little further.

Tips to Get a Higher Score

• Tap, do not hold. Short taps keep the ball near the centre line; holding a direction sends you off the edge long before the obstacle you were avoiding ever arrives.
• Look far ahead. Watch the top of the screen where the track is forming, not the ball itself - at full speed the ball is already past whatever you are staring at.
• Own the middle. On wide sections drift back to the centre, so a surprise gap on either side still leaves you room to correct.
• Commit early. When two red blocks leave one gap, pick your side immediately; late corrections at speed almost always overshoot.
• Use the tunnels to breathe. Enclosed sections have no edges to fall from, so use them to recentre before the next open stretch.
• Keep runs short and sharp. Reaction time drops fast once you get frustrated - the best scores usually come in the first few attempts of a fresh session.
