• Jump only when you must. You cannot steer much in mid-air, so a jump taken for fun is a jump you cannot use to dodge.
• Take the safe gift, skip the greedy one. A present tucked between two snowmen costs more runs than it is worth - the sleds unlock from your total across every attempt anyway.
• Use the wide stretches to recentre. Whenever the slope opens up, drift back to the middle so the next cluster of obstacles leaves you an escape on both sides.
• Restart early. Once you notice yourself reacting late, the run is already lost - a fresh start costs two seconds.
