Stick Defenders

Stick Defenders puts a roster of stickman archers and gunners along a defensive line rather than a single hero, and the actual strategy is in positioning units with different ranges and fire rates so their coverage overlaps instead of leaving gaps a wave can slip through.

Because cheap, fast units are the quickest way to scout what an incoming wave is built around, deploying a few before committing currency to a stronger, expensive unit tends to avoid wasting resources on a defense mismatched to the actual threat. Upgrading unit range before raw damage often pays off more, since a defender that spots enemies earlier gets more shots in before they close the distance.
