Swingers keeps its input simple, tap to grab, release to let go, but chains that single action across consecutive ropes where momentum genuinely carries forward, so a well-timed release launches you noticeably further than a swing held too long or released too early.

Because each rope's swing arc sets up the next grab, releasing near the top of the arc rather than the bottom tends to send you further toward the following rope instead of falling short. Obstacles are usually placed to punish a late release specifically, so treating an unfamiliar rope sequence cautiously on a first pass beats committing to full-speed swings blind.
