Vex 8

Vex 8 continues the series' tradition of context-sensitive moves, sliding under a low gap, vaulting a ledge, or diving through a narrow slot all trigger automatically based on approach, which means reading a level correctly matters more than raw button-mashing precision.

Because a single mistimed jump usually restarts the whole segment, memorizing a level's trap sequence through a few short attempts tends to work better than trying to react to each hazard cold on a first run. Momentum carries between moves, so chaining a slide directly into the next jump rather than stopping to reposition preserves the speed several later obstacles actually require to clear cleanly.
