Among Us

Innersloth quietly released Among Us in 2018 to almost no attention, then watched it explode two years later when streamers discovered how well its social-deduction format worked on camera. Ten players board a spaceship: most are crewmates running a checklist of small tasks, while one or two secretly-assigned impostors sabotage systems and pick people off alone.

• As a crewmate, do tasks in pairs or groups when possible, an impostor rarely risks a kill with a witness standing right there.
• As an impostor, faking a task convincingly (standing at the right console for the right amount of time) matters more than the kill itself.
• During meetings, cross-reference where people claimed to be with the order rooms were reported in, impostors' stories are the ones that don't quite line up.
