Backrooms
How to Play Backrooms ?
The Backrooms started as an internet creepypasta: a photo caption describing an infinite maze of empty office rooms lit by flickering fluorescent tubes, a place you "noclip" into by accident and can never fully leave. This game builds that image into a playable first-person maze, moist carpet, buzzing lights, and the same disused, liminal-space dread the original post was built on.
Levels regenerate their layout each run, so there's no map to memorize, only habits worth keeping: check a room's exits before committing to explore it fully, and move at a walk rather than a sprint near unexplored junctions, since running blind into an entity's path ends runs faster than the maze itself does. If you'd rather see the same nightmare corridors from a flat top-down angle, Backrooms 2D plays the identical premise as a side-scroller.
