Blockpost 2.0

How to Play Blockpost 2.0 ?

Blockpost 2.0 is a voxel-style first-person shooter where every match is played against real people. Two squads, the blue Blockops and the orange Postpunks, trade fire across compact maps built from chunky blocks, and the scoreboard keeps track of every frag, assist and death. It looks friendly, almost toy-like, but the gunplay underneath is closer to a classic tactical shooter than to a casual arcade game.

If you already know the first Blockpost on this site, think of this as the big update. The original build we host is version 1.19; Blockpost 2.0 jumps to version 1.42, moves to a newer engine, and adds a long list of systems that the older release simply did not have, from voice chat and sprays to daily rewards and a battle pass.

What Changed From the First Blockpost

The most noticeable difference is how much there is to do around the matches. The main menu now opens on a player card with your ID, your level and an XP bar (level 1 starts at 0/80 XP), plus a K/D tracker that counts kills, deaths and assists across every session. A Daily Bonus calendar hands out rewards each day you return, such as Gear and cases, and a separate free-reward button tops up your gold. Profile, Shop and Inventory each have their own tabs, so you can see your loadout and cosmetics without digging through menus.

  • Newer engine: the game was rebuilt on a modern version of Unity, which loads faster and runs more smoothly in a browser tab than the 2018-era build.
  • Voice and social tools: in-game voice chat, a friends list with online status, and clans are all part of 2.0.
  • More ways to customise: sprays, weapon attachments, Prime cases and a battle pass give you longer-term goals beyond a single round.
  • A cleaner mode screen: every playlist sits on one big tile grid, so jumping between modes takes one click.

Blockpost 2.0 Game Modes

Press the large yellow Play button and the game quick-joins a Team Deathmatch room for you. Before the round starts you choose a side, and the screen shows how many players are already on each team so you can balance the fight yourself. If you would rather pick, open the mode grid:

  • Team Deathmatch – the classic squad shootout, with both team totals displayed above the action.
  • Gungame – every kill swaps your weapon for the next one in the chain, so you have to stay comfortable with whatever gun you are handed.
  • Zombie – a survival twist on the usual teams, with blocky undead in place of the second squad.
  • Free For All – no teammates, no friendly fire worries, just you against the whole server.
  • Sniper Arena – bolt-action only, perfect for practising headshots at long range.

Two more tiles stay locked until you reach level 3, which gives new players a reason to stick around for a few rounds before the bigger modes open up.

Money, Loadouts and the Scoreboard

Each round starts with a cash balance (we spawned with 16000$) that you spend on weapons and gear between lives, much like the buy phase in Counter-Strike. Your rifle magazine and reserve ammo are shown in the corner (30 / 120 on the starting rifle) and your health sits in the middle of the bottom bar at 100. The scoreboard lists every player's nick, money and F / A / D numbers, and the round timer runs between the two team scores in the upper HUD.

How to Play Blockpost 2.0 Unblocked

  • W A S D or the arrow keys to move
  • Mouse to look around, left click to shoot
  • Right click to aim down sights
  • Space to jump
  • Number keys to switch between your weapons

Click inside the game first so it can capture your mouse. When you want the cursor back for menus, press Esc.

Tips for Your First Rounds

Blockpost rewards patience more than spraying. Walk instead of running when you expect an enemy around a corner, aim down sights before you peek, and fire in short bursts so the recoil does not pull your shots into the ceiling. The block maps are full of crates and low walls, so crouch-height cover is everywhere; use it to reload instead of standing in the open. In Team Deathmatch, stick close to two or three teammates. A lone runner usually meets three Postpunks at once, while a small group can trade kills and push forward together.

Spend your early gold on one reliable rifle rather than several cheap guns, and save the flashy cosmetics for later. Collecting the Daily Bonus every time you open the game is the easiest way to earn Gear without grinding.

Is Blockpost 2.0 a Real Online Game?

Yes. Rooms are hosted on live servers, so the people you see on the scoreboard are other players, and the number of rooms changes through the day. If the room you are sent to is full, the game simply drops you back on the mode screen; press Play again and it will try another server. A stable connection matters more than a fast computer here, because the game itself is light enough to run on most laptops and Chromebooks.
