Bomber Royale

NadGames built Bomber Royale around the classic Bomberman idea, place a bomb, get clear before it detonates, but reworked for a battle royale format where every other bomb on the map belongs to a rival player rather than a scripted AI.

Bombs in this version can be shoved once placed, which turns "am I in danger" into a constantly-shifting question: a bomb dropped safely a few tiles away can be kicked directly at you a moment later, so putting your back against open space rather than a dead-end corner matters more here than in the original formula. Breaking crates for arsenal upgrades early tends to matter more than chasing kills immediately, a player with a bigger bomb radius or more simultaneous bombs late in a round out-trades one who never upgraded at all. Boom Slingers ReBoom covers similar bomb-throwing arena combat with hero-specific explosives instead of a shared bomb type.
