Dude Simulator 4

Dude Simulator 4 opens on a bad date. The dude meets a girl through a dating app, somebody knocks him out, and he wakes up locked inside a stranger's house with 5 dollars in his pocket and no idea how he got there. Getting out is the first job. After that the game hands you a whole town and very few rules.

Story First, Sandbox After

This fourth entry in Kiddy's Dude Simulator series is a first-person sandbox with a short story wrapped around it. The house you wake up in is the tutorial: search the rooms, find what you need and slip past the people who put you there. Once you are outside, the open world takes over - walk the streets, get into cars, walk into shops and buildings, earn money and spend it however you like.

What the screen tells you

• Heart percentage - your health; it drops when you get hurt or fall hard.
• Stars - progress on the current set of tasks (0/4 at the start).
• Cash counter - money you have found or earned, used for everything you buy.
• Task list - open it any time to see what the story wants from you next.

Controls

• W, A, S, D - walk
• Mouse - look around and aim
• TAB or + - open the task list
• Hold Left Ctrl while throwing - put a spin on whatever you throw
• Other actions - interaction prompts appear on screen when you are close to a door, item or vehicle

Things Worth Trying Once You Are Free

• Pick up and throw objects around the house - physics is half the fun here.
• Collect every bit of loose cash before leaving an area; early money goes a long way.
• Take a car for a spin and see how far the map goes.
• Walk into buildings you would never enter in real life - most of them are open.
• Pull pranks on the townspeople and see how they react.
