Run 3

Run 3 Unblocked drops a small alien into a broken tunnel floating in space, with no ground, no safety net and holes everywhere. The twist that makes it more than a running game: whenever you jump onto a wall, that wall becomes the floor - so the level rotates around you and you have to rethink where "down" is mid-stride.

What Is Run 3?

Run 3 is the third game in the Run series and the one that turned a simple endless runner into a proper platformer. Instead of a flat track you get a tunnel made of loose tiles, and instead of one route through it there are usually three or four - along the floor, up a wall, or across the ceiling, depending on how brave you are feeling.

Fall through a gap and you drift off into space, which ends the run. What keeps it from being frustrating is the Galaxy Map: levels branch, so a tunnel you cannot beat is never the only way forward, and nine runners can be unlocked as you go, each with a different speed and jump. One is fast but hard to stop, another jumps high but crawls along - swapping character is often easier than getting better at a level.

How to Play Run 3

Controls

• A / D or Left / Right arrows - move sideways, and rotate the tunnel when you are on a wall
• Space, W or Up arrow - jump
• Hold a direction in the air - steer the landing; you keep some control after take-off

Explore Mode and Infinite Mode

• Explore Mode - the campaign. You work along the Galaxy Map, opening new tunnels, meeting new characters and occasionally repairing bridges with power cells.
• Infinite Mode - one endless tunnel that gets faster and more broken the further you go, purely for a high score.

Power cells collected along the way are the currency for both: they unlock characters and rebuild the shortcuts on the map, and they let you continue a run with a different runner instead of starting over.

Tips to Get Further

• Treat walls as floors early. Beginners try to stay on the bottom of the tunnel and run out of tiles; climbing a wall before the gaps arrive is usually the safer line.
• Jump before the edge, not on it. Tiles at the lip of a hole often crumble, and the jump you time perfectly off a crumbling tile is the jump you do not make.
• Use the air steering. You can adjust left and right after take-off, which turns a lot of missed landings into recoveries.
• Pick the runner for the tunnel. A slow, precise character beats a fast one on a level full of narrow tiles - speed only helps where the floor is solid.
• Take the branching route. If a tunnel keeps killing you, the Galaxy Map almost always has another path that unlocks the same region from a different direction.
