Base Defense

Base Defense is a turret shooting game where you are the last line of defence. Your base stands in the middle of a desert, and wave after wave of marauding robots, jetpack soldiers and armoured vehicles advance on it from both sides.

You control the base's turret: aim with the mouse and click to shoot the attackers before they reach your walls and start doing damage. Every enemy you destroy earns cash, and between levels you spend it in the shop to upgrade your weapons and defences - faster fire, stronger shots, lasers and more. Each new level brings bigger, tougher waves, so the upgrades you pick really matter. It is a lot more forgiving than a full tower-defence strategy game, which makes it easy to get into, but the later waves still ask for quick aiming.
