Endless War 3

Endless War 3 is the entry that turned IriySoft's Flash war series into a cult favourite, blending squad tactics with straight-up action across a campaign of World War II missions. You command a small group of soldiers from a side-on view, switching control between them one at a time to advance, take cover, and clear entrenched enemy positions, tanks and gun nests.

Between missions you spend earned points to promote your troops and unlock heavier weapons and vehicles, so a squad that survives becomes noticeably stronger by the late campaign. Losses are permanent within a mission, which pushes careful, patient play over rushing in. There are dozens of missions across multiple fronts plus a survival mode for quick sessions.
